Eli: Class of 2024
Almost nine years ago, a mom I had never met before approached me after a rec baseball game. She informed me that her son and my son were apparently planning a sleepover and asked if that would be okay with me. I was definitely okay with that, and while Eli and Colby aren't as close as they once were, Eli's mom and I certainly are and I don't anticipate that changing no matter how old the boys get...or how far away they go after graduation.
Eli, I hope your senior session was as quick and simple as you were hoping ;) I am honored that you refer to me as your second mom and have enjoyed being a part of your life. Enjoy the rest of your senior year and then go do big things! Proud of you, bud <3
